Phantom: Love Never Dies

Next week sees the opening of Love Never Dies the sequel of the theatre sensation that is The Phantom of the Opera.

Phantom of the Opera was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and since 1986 more than 100 million people have enjoyed the show.

I am a big fan of the musical theatre having performed in the Elvis Show along side Lulu. Though I have to say Les Miserables is my all time favourite, having booked tickets and going to see it again in May.

Have a lovely weekend everybody.

Carol Vorderman is still a stunner!

Carol was on Loose Women in a plunging low-cut number, just goes to show the 49 year old Countdown star has the brains and the looks.

She reminds me of a song I have on my Album called “Claws of Gold”

Claws of gold Lyrics:

She’s got claws of gold, and she’s getting old
But she’s still knows how to use ‘em
Every man she meets, falls at her feet
But she’ll abuse ‘em

She’s got eyes of steel, and a huge appeal
Don’t be fooled by her de-mina
she’s a heart of rock, which is quite a shock
and she’s really quite a schemer

She’s a stare soo hard, it will leave you scared
Don’t you get into her vision
she will seal your soul which once was whole
burning out with such precision

She’s got teeth of ice, as she rolls the dice
They sink into the layers
She hold all the cards, she plays them hard
She bargains with the players.

Don’t want you to think, you have her to thank
For being such a sinner
Just close your eye, it’s no surprise
It’s me who is a winner.

Will post an audio version soon.

Watch this space.

Listening to Luddy Samms singing Otis Redding

Otis Redding was another great singer to end his life in an air disaster.

Him and Buddy Holly and Glenn Miller of course.  All so talented.

Just listening to Luddy Samms singing Otis Redding songs and it reminded me.

I absolutely love LADY GAGA!

A lot of people seem divided to whether her wacky attire is actually doing more bad than good for her career, but she is obviously someone not to be ignored.

Personally I think it’s very liberating to see such creativity in someone’s style. I wish I was brave enough to pull some of those costumes off!

I wish her best of luck in her up and coming UK leg of her European tour (See Ladygaga.com for more information)
